My coffee is taking too long to brew. Why?

Slow brew times are often the result of an improper grind size. For cold brew, we recommend coarse ground coffee, and a medium fine grind for pour over. Slow filtration may also be due to natural oils building up in the filter, so feel free to give your filter basket a wash to see if this improves speed. If not, you can also try rinsing with vinegar to remove any stubborn buildup from oils.
